STEUBEN, Ind. (May 15, 2012) - Steuben County Council approved a $1.25 million loan to Indiana Northeastern Railroad for track improvements at its May 15, 2012 meeting. Approval follows several months discussion regarding the need to upgrade sections of rail between the Dekalb County line and Michigan State line. ANGOLA, Ind. (April 10, 2012) — Persistence paid off as the Steuben County Aviation Board and elected officials finally broke ground on a hangar/terminal at the Tri-State Steuben County Airport Monday.
The hangar/terminal will cost around $1.6 million and will provide year-round access so jets and airplanes don’t ice up in the winter. It will include part of the the second floor that will include a pilot’s lounge and an elevator to access that level.

AZZ Galvanizing at 7825 S. Homestead Drive plans to invest $2 million on an 18,000-square-foot building expansion and up to $4 million on new machinery and equipment, company officials told the Hamilton Town Council Thursday. The council granted a property tax abatement on the new investment.
